Installing certificates on Nokia phones

Certificates can be downloaded directly in the phone browser.
For Nokia phones, aNokiCert can also be used to install certificates by Bluetooth from an Android phone.

Installing certificates on Sony Ericsson phones

Some Sony Ericsson phones do not allow certificates to be installed directly from the mobile browser. On these phones, use a Windows PC and a USB cable:

  1. Download Far Manager.
  2. Extract the downloaded archive.
  3. Open Far.exe.
  4. Click 11 Plugin at the bottom right.
  5. Select SEFP2.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the phone.
  7. On the right side of Far Manager, open the 15pmm01 folder.
  8. Copy all four files from the 15pmm01 folder to the /tpa/preset/default folder on the phone. Select each file one at a time, click 5 Copy at the bottom, and press Enter.
  9. Disconnect and reboot the phone.
  10. Make sure the phone's date and time are set correctly.
